Read all about the natural superiority of left-handed people, and the ugly attempts of the inferior righties to hold them back.

What? Why yes, I am left-handed. Why do you ask?

Not a lot. Which is probably why I'm not posting much the last few months.

Case in point: today I am defrosting my fridge, which is terribly boring, if rather retro. Yes, my little refrigerator is so lame that you have to defrost it by the old-fashioned tactic of turning it off.

I have very little food in the house as a result. Soon, I will have to go get something before I eat the cat.

I did, however, have a Very Nice early birthday courtesy of my sister making me dinner at her shiny new digs, where I spent most of my time secretly plotting to dognap her new family addition, Sebastian. I also got a bitchin' set of bowls from my mother, which are making me want to bake something just to be able to use them.

So thanks to my whole fam, from the blood-related to the family of choice (yo! Zam!) -- it was a hawesome birthday, and you all rock.

Now back to my task of the day, which is updating passwords and generally getting my security house in order.

Oh I can't wait...

...for this damn album to come out. Just weeks away!

Ain't been up to much. Too many days of work in a row. Finally a day off yesterday in which I vegetated and read. Tucson is a thing of wonderful, moody storms. Today, the western end of the Catalinas were lit up brilliantly in the late afternoon sun. The middle and eastern portions were lost in mist and rain. In my head, Anne Radcliffe and various romantic poets spoke of sublime vistas.

I've worked so many hours this week, and had so much trouble sleeping, and now I have a day off, and I'm at a loss. I just keep sitting here, staring at the wall and the blinds and my cat.

I did manage to get one post written for A Go-Go, which will post itself early in the morning. I hope it makes sense. I want to write more, maybe work on a story, but my brain feels like a puddle of BRAIN JUICE.

Meanwhile, I'm excited for Cassini's flyby of Enceladus, the Most Coolest Little Moon in the Solar System. Cassini will fly within 30 miles of the geyser area! That's a bit intimate. I hope Enceladus doesn't get creeped out.
